Antonyms for Confined Places

Antonyms for Confined Places is a studio ep of instrumental songs (except for Keep, Stay, Close, Away feat. Fien). It was recorded at our homes. Mix and mastering at Franz Suono by Franz Fabiano.

Music in Isolation

During the quarantine, music became my primary lifeline—the only way to keep my spirits high. Like many of you, my entire life shifted online. While I was fortunate to remain healthy during the pandemic, I couldn’t escape a persistent sense of isolation.

Even though technology allowed me to stay in touch with family and friends, the reality of social distancing was difficult to bear, and watching the news made the weight of the world feel even heavier. These pieces are a reflection of that time.

The Tracklist

The title of each instrumental track serves as a single line in a larger haiku. To experience the poem, read the titles in sequence:

Quarantine Days (Will Be)
Seen From Far Away
Keep, Stay, Close, Away
May You Be Safe
Long Hours Have No Name
Facing Fate
In this Confined Place
